H.E. Bates was certainly a most prolific writer. Over one hundred books were published including novels, collections of short stories, autobiographies and other works of non-fiction. On top of this he was a regular contributor to several magazines. He wrote over 300 short stories and novellas, nearly two hundred essays and articles and several poems.
Listed below and over the next few pages are all of his books, shown in chronological order. In time I will expand this to include details about each book and descriptions of the works and hopefully, eventually, this will include the facility for you to add your own reviews of the books. For the time being let's just marvel at the sheer number of books produced by the writer.
